Foday Kaba is a panegyric song is devoted to Ibrahima Foday so-called « Foday Kaba » Doumbouya (1818-1901), son of a famous
diakhanke marabout, and marabout himself ; he fought fierly (20 years !) against English and French colonisation in Senegambia at the end of the XIX° century.
This tune is also called « Badora (d)jo » refering to its verses.
