This record released out by OCORA in 1986 is very interesting from a ethno-musicological point of view for it has the merit to offer us :
the great traditional diversity of the deepest original Manding music (High-Guinea) ;
several panegyrics, of which «Soumaworo Faasa» ; some versions of these panegyrics are very rare because these are sung such as they have been created - by direct descendants of Bala Fasseke Kouyate, the keepers of the last holy vestiges of the Mande empire, like the famous «sosso-bala» (the Sosso balaphon, which belonged, initially, to Soumaworo Kante).
